In Japan, for the winter holiday, New Years is more commonly celebrated than Christmas. We send New Year’s cards instead of Christmas cards, and have decorations for New years.
There is a special decoration made from pine and bamboo, and it is very sacred and traditional. I love seeing this in many places, and recently has many varieties for decorations. Our office always has an original one made, and wanted to share this since it looks so special and original!
