Starbucks Coffee is well-known all around the world – people either love it or hate it but you can’t deny it’s popular. In Japan Starbucks is very popular. In my area alone, there are 4 Starbucks in a 20 minute walking radius from each other.
Seasonal drinks are super popular. Not only around Christmas, but all year long, one after the other is a new seasonal drink or two. Besides the Christmas season drinks, the Sakura season drinks are probably the most popular. Maybe even more popular than any other as they are only available in Japan.
Throughout the season there are cute cups with sakura flowers on them and various sakura drinks available. One thing is, usually these drinks don’t actually have any coffee in them. They’re just sweet, milky drinks… more of a dessert than anything else!
